New Year 2020 ESL Programs - Sign Up Now!

A new season of English as a Second Language (ESL) classes (click on link for full list of locations, dates and times) will start in January at Knight Memorial, Mount Pleasant, Olneyville, Rochambeau, Smith Hill and Washington Park. Hundreds Attend our Biggest Ever Feria del Libro Event!

On Saturday, November 9, an estimated 400-500 people gathered at the Center at Moore Hall, Providence College, to celebrate Latino culture, arts and literature.

Ferias del Libro (Book Fairs) are popular events in the Spanish-speaking world. About half of the residents of Providence are of Latino origin and many speak Spanish as a first language. Feria del Libro deserves to become an important and anticipated annual event in our city's calendar. We are working to make it so!
