Towering Stories, Saturday, April 24, 2021

Take the Challenge:  Saturday, September 25, 2021

We are looking for 75 heroes to raise a minimum of $800 for Providence Community Library's 'Towering Stories'. The valuable funds that you raise will take our services to a new level, especially in these times of Covid-19 as we continue to develop and provide new and innovative programs, services, makerspace equipment and digital resources.

Your reward is to ascend to the rooftop of Regency Plaza, step Over the Edge and rappel down the 12-story building in downtown Providence.

Get off to a lightening fast start with our Quickstart Guide to Raising $500 in 9 Days and our comprehensive Fundraising Toolkit, available soon.

Register with a Fearless Friend and lower your minimum fundraising goal to only $600!
On the big day, we’ll schedule you together so that you rappel down the ropes side-by-side!

Space is limited, so act now!

Why Participate in #ToweringStories?

Providence Community Library (PCL) provides the people of Providence with a wealth of knowledge and free learning resources through its nine neighborhood locations. Its mission is to fight low literacy and lack of opportunity, raise reading scores and help more than 178,000 library users achieve their dreams.

As a Towering Stories' hero, you support libraries that are at the heart of the neighborhoods of Providence and, potentially, reach every member of those communities.

Note: Participants must reach their minimum fundraising goal to participate in this thrilling opportunity. Participants must weigh between 100 and 300 lbs and be 12 or over. If under 18, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver.
