Providence City Council Candidate for Ward 3 David Lallier Jr will be holding a Reading and a Question & Answer session for children with learning disabilities like himself. We invite everyone with children, with and without a learning disability, to attend. David is taking this opportunity while running for public office to address special needs and special education and bring awareness to children with learning disabilities. This will be an opportunity for children to ask questions about growing up with their disabilities and being a valued productive member of their community.

David grew up in the Special Education system in Providence. He graduated from Martin Luther King Jr, Nathan Bishop, and Central High. During his time in the Providence Public Schools, he was part of the Special Education system since 2nd grade at Martin Luther King. David continues to struggle at 32 years old with his disability unable to learn in traditional ways, being able
to retain information easily and the ability to process his thoughts clearly to others.

*This is a non-political event and is for the children. This is an opportunity well running for office to publicly address issues with children with special learning needs and to encourage the children to continue to fight and succeed in life.
