This three-session creative writing workshop dives into writing flash fiction stories from start to finish. Over the course of three weeks, participants will explore character, conflict, and change - three essential elements of a successful story. Each one-hour session involves writing exercises, voluntary sharing, and lively discussion. This workshop is great for beginning writers and professionals alike. Alexander Smith, the author of "The Perfect Man and Other Stories of the Supernatural," will facilitate the workshop. The goal of the class is for participants to produce works of flash fiction. The workshop will culminate in a public reading hosted by the class at the Mt. Pleasant Library. Space is limited; contact Lee to register!
