What is an edible book?

It's an edible creation that can look like a book, be a pun on the book title, refer to a character, or have something to do with books!

How does the Edible Book Festival work?

Create your entry at home, then bring it to the library on the day of the Festival to be admired, judged, and eaten! You will be judged on creativity, presentation, and taste.

Who can enter?

Everyone is invited to create an edible entry! You can enter as a book group, a family, or on your own!

What are the rules?

  1. Your entry must be edible and CANNOT contain nuts.
  2. Your entry must relate to a book in form or theme.
  3. Your entry must be in good taste as well as taste good.
  4. You must submit a completed entry form to the library by March 21st.Entrants may start setting up at 1:45pm on March 28th.

Who's invited?

The Edible Book Festival is a family event, free and open to the public. Beverages will be provided.
