Local author Scott Turner reads from his new book Beauty in the Street, a collection of his observations of nature in places he has lived, from the Bronx to Rhode Island and beyond. Beauty in the Street paints word pictures in celebration of the outdoors, encouraging readers to appreciate and learn from the world around us.

An East Side resident, Scott Turner wrote a weekly nature commentary for the Providence Journal for 10 years.
