Spring into Health & Wellness at Your Library!

It's suddenly spring! With the winter behind us, milder temperatures and longer days ahead, this is the perfect time to enjoy the sunshine and take  time to focus on our heath and wellness needs. Thanks to a generous grant from the National Library of Medicine, our libraries have free programs and resources in March and April to help you do just that. Physical activities such as walking, tai chi, yoga and dance encourage us to move our bodies more, while others such as art therapy, anxiety and stress management help us to be mindful of our mental and emotional health and improve our awareness of medical research in these areas. Many of our programs take a holistic approach. Whatever your priorities are, and wherever you are on your personal journey to health and wellness, our nine libraries have something for everyone in Providence.
